RACE to Wellness is a campaign developed by Network Connect to Reverse the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) amongst teens. The CDC defines ACEs as “potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0-17 years).” Network Connect’s RACE programming includes after-school programming, summer camps, and the distribution of RACE kits during RACE days. RACE programs offer helpful tools and educational resources youth and families can use to reverse the impact of adverse childhood experiences.
